Very Close to the Airport

Marriott St. Louis Airport

This hotel is found instantly after you get out of the airport drive and make a right turn. It probably takes one minute after you leave the airport shuttle stop. This is a prestigeous hotel and both rooms and services are very good. But you have to pay much for that. And I don't have any more information on this hotel because, to be frank, I have never stayed at this hotel. Refer to Expedia or TripAdvisor for detail.

空港内の道路を出て右に曲がるとすぐにこのホテルが目に留まります。多分１分くらいで到着です。マリオットは世界的なホテルチェーンであり、客室、接客ともに秀逸です。が、それに見合う料金を払う必要があります。私自身はこのホテルには泊ったことがないので、詳しくはエクスペディアかトリップアドバイザーのウェブページにアクセスしてください。

Drury Inn St. Louis Airport

Along with Marriott, there is no sweat to find this hotel. After getting out of the airport drive, turn left and look up ahead. Then the hotel simply come into your eyes. Again, it probably takes one minute to arrive at this hotel. Even though the price is more than $50 lower than Mariott or Hilton, it boasts of high customer satisfaction. Very sadly, however, I have not stayed at this hotel so I cannot say any more about it. Refer to Expedia or TripAdvisor for detail.

Hampton Inn St. Louis-Airport

This hotel is located just next to Mariott St. Louis Airport. So this is very close to the airport too. And generally customer reviews of this hotel are high enough. The price is mostly a little bit higher than Drury Inn. I have not stayed at this hotel so I don't have any more information on it. Please refer to Expedia or TripAdvisor for detail.

このホテルはマリオットのとなりに立地しており、上の２つのホテル同様、空港に極めて近いです。利用客の満足度も十分に高いです。もっとも宿泊料金は、ほほ同格のドゥルリーよりやや高めの設定ですのでご注意を。このホテルにも私は泊ったことがないので、これ以上はエクスペディアやトリップアドバイザーを参照してください。

Close to the Airport

Hilton St. Louis Airport

After leaving the airport drive and making a left turn, you are on Natural Bridge Road, which eventually takes you to downtown St. Louis. You drive just a couple of minutes on Natural Bridege Road and you will first see Budget/Avis Rental Car, then Hilton Airport, both on your right. This Hilton comes with excellent rooms and very good customer service. I stayed at this hotel on the last day of 2014 at a bargen price (whcih actually was just $100!) But mostly you have to pay $200 or higher. Workers were really good and I especially liked its bar near the front hall. Another good point is its closeness to Budget/Avis. This is especially convenient when you return your rental car because you just can walk back to the hotel. Buffet-style breakfast is available at a cafeteria on the first floor. I don't exactly remember how much I paid, but that was about $15. When your budget allows it, I recommend you to stay at this hotel.

空港内の道路を出て左折すると Natural Bridge Road という道路に出ます。（これを道なりに進むと最後にはダウンタウンに出ます。）この道路を１，２分進むと初めにバジェット・エイビスの営業所が、続いてヒルトンが右手に現れます。ここのヒルトンにはすばらしい客室と接客の良さがあります。私は２０１４年大みそかにこのホテルに泊りましたが、このときはバーゲンプライスでした。（なんとたった１００ドルの宿泊料！）普段は２００ドル以上払わなければなりません。従業員たちは大変親切でした。なかでもフロントホール近くのバーのバーテンダーはとても良い人物でした。このホテルのもう一つ良い点はレンタカーの営業所に極めて近いという点です。これはレンタカーを返却するときに特に便利です。だって歩いてホテルへもどれますから。また、ビュッフェ形式の朝食を一階で取ることができます。正確には覚えていませんが多分１５ドルくらい払ったと思います。予算が許せばこのホテルに泊ることをお勧めします。

Quality Inn St. Louis Airport

The location of this hotel is top notch. Just in its back is Hertz Rental Car. And it's close to the airport. After getting out of the airport drive and making a left turn onto Natural Bridge Road, you drive just a few minutes. After passing by Budget and Hilton, you first see the entrance to Hertz and then the entrance to this hotel, both on the right-hand side. If you drove about 60 feets farther, you would get to the intersection of Natural Bride Rd and Woodson Road. One problem of this hotel is a possibility that you may have a room without good maintenance. The price is about $75 to $80 including tax.

このホテルの立地は一級品です。まず、このホテルのすぐ裏手がハーツ・レンタルカーの営業所である点。そして空港の近くにある点。空港内の道路を出たところを左折して Natural Bridge Road に入り２，３分進みます。バジェット・レンタカーとヒルトンを過ぎるとまずハーツ・レンタルカーの入口が右手に見え、続いて直ぐにこのホテルの入口が同じく右手に現れます。更に６０フィート進めば Natural Bridge Road と Woodson Road の交差点に出る場所です。ただ、このホテルの問題は部屋があまりメンテナンスされていないかもしれないという可能性がある点です。宿泊料はリーズナブルで税込７５〜８０ドルくらいと考えればよいでしょう。

Motel 6 St. Louis Airport

This used to be America's Best Value Inn. Now it is called Motel 6 St. Louis Airport. I knew this fact in early January 2015 when I visited St. Louis to spend my New Year holidays. As far as I saw it from outside, everything seemed to be the same except for the signboard which showed the new hotel name.

このホテルは America's Best Value Inn でしたが、現在では Motel 6 St. Louis Airport に変わりました。私はこの事実を２０１５年１月初め、新年の休日を過ごすためにセントルイスを訪れたときに知りました。外側から見る限りは、新しいホテルの名前を示す看板を除けば、何も変わってはいないようでした。

The direction from the airport is what follows. After leaving the airport drive and turning left at the exit intersection, you are on Natural Bridge Road. Keep going until you get to the intersection of Natural Bridge Road and Woodson Road. At this intersection, you make a right turn and go about ten seconds. You will find the entrance to this hotel on your right.

空港からの道順は次のとおりです。空港内の道路の出口を左に曲がると Natural Bridge Road に出ます。この道路を、この道路と Woodson Road の三叉路まで進みます。そこを右に曲がって１０秒くらい行けば、右手にこのホテルの入口が眼に入ります。

Like Quality Inn, this hotel is a lodge with a reasonable price. The way it is built reminds me of a typical American motel. There is an office building in the front and a motel building lies behind it.

Quality Inn と同様、このホテルは合理的な価格の宿泊場所です。建物の様子は典型的なアメリカのモーテルを思い起こさせます。前面に事務所があり、後ろが宿泊用の建物になっています。

If what you want is simply a bed for one night sleep, this hotel will suit your need.

単に一晩の睡眠のためのベッドがあればいいというのであれば、このホテルはあなたの希望にかなったものでしょう。

Holiday Inn St. Louis Airport

After leaving the airport drive and making a left turn at the exit intersection, you will be on Natural Bridge Road. Go on this road a few minutes to get to the T-shaped intersection of this road and Woodson Road. At this intersection, you make a right turn and then go on Woodson just about ten seconds. You will first see Motel 6 and then this hotel on the right-hand side of the road.

空港内の道路を出て出口の交差点を左折し Natural Bridge Road に入って数分行くと Woodson Road とのT-字路交差点に出ます。そこを右に折れて Woodson Road に入り、ほんの１０秒くらい行くと最初に Motel 6 が、続いてこのホテルがともに右側に現れます。

This Holiday Inn is a top end of what is classified in moderately priced hotels. Guest rooms are generally very well maintained. Beds are clean and comfortable; bathrooms are large and clean. You have more than enough clean towels, free quality soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. Hotel workers are down to earth and friendly. When in St. Louis, I usually stay at this hotel at least one night.

Another notable advantage of this hotel is the punctuality of its shuttle. It connects the hotel and the airport every 20 minutes, and is on time. This releases you from tourists' ubiquitous anxiety of "What if I'm late for the flight!" I think this is a great value of this hotel.

このホテルのもうひとつの特筆すべき利点はシャトルの時間の正確さです。ホテルと空港を２０分間隔で結ぶのですが、時間どおりに動きます。これのおかげで、ひょっとしたらフライトに間に合わないのでは、という旅行客普遍のイライラから解放されます。これはこのホテルの大変な価値だと思います。

There is a good restaurant and bar and, as you figure, it's not free. You have to pay even for breakfast. This might be one negative point for some travellors even though food quality is above average.

レストラン・バーも備わっていますが、ご推察どおり、無料ではありません。朝食にもお金が必要です。この点は、人によってはマイナス点になるでしょう。もっとも料理の質は平均以上なのですが。

There is enough parking space, and all major car rentals are within a walking distance. You have National/Alamo across from the hotel; you have Hertz by the intersection of Natural Bridge Road and Woodson Road. When you walk back to the airport about five minutes, you will find the garage for Budget/Avis.

駐車場は十分なスペースがあります。アメリカの主要なレンタカーサービスにも歩いていける立地でもあります。ナショナル・アラモは通りの向かい側ですし、ハーツは Natural Bridge Road と Woodson Road の交差点にあります。空港に向かって徒歩で５分くらい戻ればバジェット・エイビスのカレージもあります。

Econo Lodge

This is a low end of budget hotels, and you can probably stay here at a cheapest price in the area near the Lambert International Airport. Off season, you may be able to lodge here less than 50 bucks for one night, including tax.

ここは低料金のホテルの中でも下の部類で、おそらくはランバート国際空港界隈での最低料金で宿泊できるでしょう。シーズンオフなら、税金込みで５０ドル以下で宿泊できるかもしれません。

It is not to say that there are tradeoffs for this low price. Your room may not be clean enough; you may find hairs in your bed; you may not have a sound sleep because of an outside noise. So, only when your red eye is cancelled and you have to stay overnight somewhere near the airport, this hotel may come to your choice.

Courtesy transportation is announced on the Web page of this hotel. However it may not acutally be available. A few TripAdvisor reviewers complain that they were told by the hotel itself to ride a taxi to the hotel from the airport! They had to pay extra $10 for the taxi ride.

To save the honor of this hotel, it is a member of Choice Hotels and we can count on its efforts to keep basic levels of customer service available. Also its location is as good as some other hotels listed here because it's in five minute driving distance from the airport.

Fairly Close to the Airport

Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel

After leaving the airport drive and making a left turn at the exit intersection, you are on Natural Bridge Road. Go straight on the road and you will soon get to the T-shaped intersection at the present road and Woodson Road. Don't turn here and keep going straight. The road soon curves to the left a little bit to merge to the exit road from Interstate 70. At this moment you take the leftmost lane as you slow down. Be watchful. You might have cars exiting from I-70. Now you see this hotel on your left.

空港内の道路を出た最初の交差点を左折し Natural Bridge Road に出ます。この道路をまっすぐに進むと間もなくこの道路と Woodson Road の交差点に出ます。ここを曲がらずにさらにまっすぐ進みます。道は直ぐに左にやや曲がり、インターステート７０からの出口の道路と合流します。スピードを落としながら左端のレーンに入って下さい。この時インターステート７０の出口を降りてくる車に注意して左端のレーンに入ると、左手にルネサンスホテルが見えます。

The intersection at Picayune Avenue appears literally as the matter of a second. Turn left here if you can but it may be too short to turn safely. Then you should go just a little farther. You will be on the next intersection at Fairfield Avenue. Turn here to the left and cross the west-bound Natural Bridge Road. You will be on another entrance to the hotel.

文字通り一秒で Picayune Avenue との交差点が現れるのでそこを左折します。急にこの交差点に出るので左折しにくいのであればそのまま直進し、次の Fairfield Avenue との交差点で左折し、西向きの Natural Bridge Road を横切ってもうひとつのホテルへの入口に入って下さい

This Renaissance Hotel recently got renovation and reviewers generally give high marks to it. They say rooms are large and very clean and beds are really comfortable. They admire customer-friendly attitudes of the hotel workers, too.

ルネサンスホテルは最近リフォームを受けたばかりで、利用客の評判は上々です。いわく、部屋がとても清潔で十分な広さがありベッドの寝心地もすばらしい、等々。利用客は顧客に対し常に親切に接する従業員へも賛辞を送っています。

Price is almost as high as Hilton's. But the renovation makes the hotel worth it. If you pursue great comfort from your hotel stay, this will answer wonderfully to your request.

St. Louis Travelodge

Like the Econo Lodge listed above, this is a typical budget hotel. One may want to categorize it as a motel. No airport shuttle service is announced on their Homepage, so you have to take a taxi to get to it.

上記のエコノ・ロッヂと同様に、このホテルも典型的な低価格ホテルです。モーテルの範疇に入れても良いのかも知れません。ホームページには空港シャトルが明記されていないので、タクシーでこのホテルに向かうことになります。

Another way to get to this hotel is to go to a rent-a-car counter at the airport. All major rent-a-car companies are available in St. Louis. And they all have a shuttle service that takes you to their garages. Conveniently, most garages are located on the same Naturtal Bridge Road as this hotel stands on. You turn right at the garage exit and go east on the road. In about a few minutes, you will cross Brown Road. Then you turn left at the next small intersection. Quickly turn left again. You will be on the west-bound Natural Bridge Road. (This road splits apart into east-bound and west-bound around there.) The hotel will be seen on your right.

Recently, Enterprise Rent-A-Car moved to a place that is in a few minutes walk from this hotel. So, you may want to go to this hotel by taxi, check in quickly, and walk to the Enterprize office to check out a car of your favorite type.

最近エンタープライズ・レンタカーがこのホテルから歩いて行ける距離に移ってきました。そこで、まずタクシーでホテルまで行き、チェックインのあとそのレンタカーの事務所に歩いて行ってレンタカーを借り出すのも良いでしょう。

There are several cheap restaurants near this hotel, including a Waffle House, so that you will not have trouble finding eateries.

このホテルの周辺にはワッフル・ハウスを含めていくつか低価格の食事処があり、食べる場所をさがす手間はありません。

One night stay here will probably cost you about $10 more than Econo Loddge mentioned above, but still very reasonable. And many TripAdvisor reviewers report about relative cleanness of its guestrooms. They also give good marks to the front desk staff.

One caveat is that this hotel borders some unstable neighborhoods. So, you should not go out after dark.

If you are on long tour and you don't want to spend much money for lodging, this Travelodge may be a good choice.

Somewhat Close to the Airport

Hilton Garden Inn

This hotel is classified as a moderately priced hotel, like the Holiday Inn Airport mentioned above. The price might even be a little lower than the Holiday Inn because of a longer distance to it from the airport. However, the quality of the hotel facilities seems to be slightly better than that of the Holiday Inn. It might even remind you of the quality that you have in real Hiltons.

このホテルは、上で紹介したホリデー・インと並んで、中価格帯のホテルの範疇に入ります。空港から距離があるので、宿泊料はホリデー・インより幾分低めですらあるかもしれません。ですが、ホテルの質はホリデー・インに優っているように見受けられます。それはあなたにヒルトンホテルの上質な設備を連想させてさえくれるかもしれません。

There are two ways to get to this hotel from the airport. One is to take the hotel shuttle at the airport. After getting out of the airport building through Exit 17, wait for the shuttle on the roofed sidewalk near the exit. The shuttle should come to the airport periodically, but for a quick pickup, you might want to call the hotel. The shuttle will immediately get on the Interstate 70 East, go east on the highway for a few minutes, get out the highway at Exit 239, turn left on North Hanley, turn left again at the second intersection, enter the premises of the hotel in a second, and drop you off at the very front door of the hotel. If traffic is smooth, ten minutes is enough for you to be at the front desk.

The other way is to rent a car. For that, you go to a rent-a-car counter at the airport. Rental car counters are located just by the Baggage Claim. All major rent-a-car companies in the U.S. are available in St. Louis. After a little paperwork at the counter, you go to Exit 17, go through it, get to the roofed sidewalk near Exit 17, and wait for the shuttle of your rental car company. Usually you will be on the shuttle in about ten minutes.

Once you check out your rental car, you turn left on Natural Bridge Road, which runs by the garage. This road is actually the one you have come along the airport in the shuttle. Drive a couple of minutes up to the point where you will see a BP gas station on your left. As you pass it, you will see the entrance to Interstate 70 East on your right. Take that entrance and get on I-70 East.

In just a few minutes drive, you will see the sign of Exit 239 on your right. Take that exit, which merges to North Hanley. Turn left on North Hanley, go over I-70, and keep going up to the second intersection. At this intersection, you make a left turn. Then you will have already been in the premises of this hotel.
